We are ready to release the 2020 schedule as we know it today, (1/20/20) we will open our season at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 4th, 2020. The series moves to the first race of a Triple Crown series race at The Beech Ridge Motor speedway on May 30th, 2020. Then it’s onto the New London Waterford Speedbowl for a tentative opening weekend of June 13th for a special combined event details to be forth coming. Modified Racing Series closed out its season Sunday afternoon, as the 2019 Series Champion, Mike Willis Jr, of Grantham, NH, was lauded for his accomplishment on winning his first ever series title. Just to let all our competitors know as of today the open practice and the ICEBREAKER at Thompson Motorsports Park have been postponed . We are in contact with the track and will work with them to aid them in finding a suitable make-up date if possible . 2021 Engine Rules Addendum A. NASCAR Spec Engines must be sealed and meet all NASCAR specifications, this includes all carburetor specs. B. Well we have busy at work behind the scenes contacting Tracks and working on the 2021 schedule.We have also enlisted the service of a marketing company to secure not only a Title sponsor for the series but sponsorship for race events in the hope of being able to improve our purse structure.
