Rule Addendum for 2026
Carburetor Option for All Aluminum Head “Built” Engines (NASCAR Spec Excluded) – 2026
Approved Carburetor Model
For the 2026 season, all aluminum head “built” engines, with the exception of NASCAR Spec engines, are permitted to utilize the VDL 650 HP Carburetor, part number 80541-3. This carburetor option is exclusively available through VDL and will be uniquely identified by its serial number.
Modification Restrictions
No modifications are permitted to the carburetor except for adjustments to the jet and air bleed size, which may be made solely for the purpose of tuning.
Required Components
The carburetor must be used in conjunction with the following components:
• ALLSTAR PERFORMANCE Adjustable Base Plate 1”, Part # ALL26060
• ALLSTAR 1” Spacer Inserts 1.25, Part # ALL26066
Inspection and Sealing Procedure
The carburetor will be sealed to the intake by an official from MRS Tour LLC. Each team is required to provide one (1) drilled stud on the right side of the engine to facilitate this process.
